To apply simply tap a small amount of the mineral powder onto the lid from your container. Swirl your brush into the lid until all the minerals are absorbed into the brush and then brush into your skin. Ensure that your moisturiser is fully absorbed into your skin before applying the mineral powder.
TIP: To create a liquid foundation or tinted moisturiser, add a small amount of mineral powder to your moisturiser and mix in well until you get the right colour and consistancy.
There are lots of great colours to choose from to match your skin type. (Please note that some computer screens may show these colours slightly inaccurately- so we’ve provided a way to make sure you get the right colour!)
Not sure which colour is yours? Don’t worry- when you order a foundation from us we’ll also include a free sample of the colour you’ve ordered for you to try BEFORE you open the actual product. If the colour is wrong, just return the foundation to us unopened and in resaleable condition and we’ll swap it for the right one!
Tan based foundations are the most popular in the New Zealand population. The 3 tan based Colorevolution foundations are Sandstone (lightest), Medium (medium- who would have guessed?), and Creme Caramel (darkest).

The tan based foundations can be used on most European skin tones. The Medium and Crème Caramel are also suitable for Maori and Pacific Island skin tones. The Crème Caramel can sometimes be a great color for fair Indian women.
Yellow based foundations are the next most popular colors in the Colorevolution range. The 3 colors are Fair (lightest), Honey (medium), Dark (darkest).

The yellow bases can be used for many Asian clients. The fair was especially made for the Japanese market but can also be used on very fair European skin tones. The dark is great for the slightly darker Indian woman but too dark for most Maori and Pacific Island skin tones.
Pink based foundation is the least popular in New Zealand but is still used and important. The 3 colors are Porcelain (lightest), Toffee (medium), and Cappucino (darkest).
